5. 박사학위 논문심사는 계획서 심사 및 3번의 본 논문심사(Preliminary Exam, Intermediate Exam, Final Defense)를 거친다.

1) 논문계획서 심사 (Proposal Review)

● 박사과정 연구의 올바른 방향설정을 위해 종합시험을 통과한 학생에 한해 최대한 이른 시기에 실시한다.

● 계획서 심사위원은 지도교수를 포함한 전임교원 2인 이상으로 구성하며, 학생은 박사학위 논문을 위해 어떤 연구를 할 것인지 연구계획서를 작성하여 사전에 심사위원에게 배포해야 한다

● 논문계획서 심사는 계획서에 대한 서면평가와 학생의 구술발표에 대한 평가로 이루어진다.

● 계획서 심사에서 통과하지 못하면 계획서를 수정하여 일정기간 후 재심사한다.

Starting with students who entered the school in September 2014, they are required to submit a Proposal Review when applying for a thesis.

Please note : Proposal Review must be completed by the end of the semester prior to the application for the thesis.

5. Doctoral dissertation should be continuously checked up through a proposal review and three exams (Preliminary Exam, Intermediate Exam, Final Defense).

1) Proposal Review

● Proposal review should be done as early as possible once a student passes the comprehensive exam.

● Proposal should be reviewed at least two full-time faculty members including the academic advisor. A student should submit doctoral research proposal to reviewers in advance.

● Proposal review shall be done through both evaluation on the written proposal and evaluation on the oral presentation of the student.

● If failed from this review process, the proposal should be revised and reviewed again after a certain period.
